Campaign Story
Hello friends and family! Eric and I wanted to share with you what has been going on in our lives. We have been on a two year journey to grow our family and have unfortunately been unsuccessful. It has included many visits with doctors, several rounds of fertility medications, and two miscarriages, but we have still been unable to get pregnant or find the answers we’ve been looking for. It has been a long and hard journey with lots of stress, loss, and heartbreak.
That being said, we ended up getting a second opinion with another specialist. After extensive testing, we have finally arrived at a diagnosis of unexplained fertility. And while this didn’t give us a lot of answers, our doctor did give us some hope. He believes there is a high chance of successful pregnancy if we were to go forward with IVF. While we have been saving for a while, we are still in need of a little bit of help.
Even though we have sometimes been struggling with the why of it all, we know that this has been part of God’s plan and we are overwhelmingly thankful for the love and support we have received over the last two years. We know no matter what God will be with us as well as support of the community we have found with all of you. If you are able to help us out financially we would be so grateful, however Eric and I just truly want to thank you for the prayers and support. We ask that you continue to keep us in your prayers and around your dinner tables!

The Ups and Downs
Hey everyone, we thought we would do a little update here. It has been quite the process since we started a few months ago. We have had so many prayers and support. We have undergone egg retrieval, fertilization, and lastly implantation last month. Unfortunately for us, this embryo did not take. We are heartbroken that IVF has not been the immediate solution to our infertility, but we are not defeated. What this means now is we are in need of more support. The cost each time is a financial commitment that requires money up front. We are able to do the next step for us, which is a biopsy accompanied with a similar drug routine as previous that will give us a better range of my fertile window in order to increase the chance of the embryo taking and us having our rainbow baby. We thank you for all your support and please continue to pray for us as we go through the next step of our journey.
